There were plenty of things to do at the resort. Besides all the time we spent eating from the buffet line, we did a little bit of everything. We went swimming in the pool with the slide that looks like a twisted anaconda, we visited the game room where we played darts, pool, and ping pong. We also jumped on the trampoline and spent plenty of time relaxing in the hammocks. We also went on quite a kayaking session. And I´ve got all the pictures below.
Then my husband got an itch to go fishin´. So they gave us some poles, which were basically sticks with string and hooks, and we attempted to catch some fish on the shore. Coco became impatient with that pretty quickly and went off in search of a fishing boat. I stayed by the shore and about 15 minutes later my knight in shining armor rowed up in a little fishing boat. We rowed around the property and even ventured over to a small lake area. We got a lot of bites, but we never caught anything. But we gave it a really good try, for like 3 hours.
The place was beautiful and mystical by night. My favorite was watching the stars and fireflies from our balcony hammock.
And on our journey back to Iquitos we stopped in a particular place on the river that is known to have dolphins. After waiting quite a while, I was happy to end the last leg of our trip spotting river dolphins so close to the boat. We had such a great time celebrating our anniversary. We´re so thankful to have each other and we´re looking forward to all that lies ahead in year two.

Why do these photos bring back memories of the Delta? And, have I said this before?
