So I am officially a resident of Peru! Yay! I have no idea how the process normally works but I just married a Peruvian and then followed him around immigration offices and embassies untill I finally had my ID. I´m so excited!

YAY! So what kind of rights and privileges does this give you? Does it say Andrea Negrete on your ID??? :) :) Love you/Miss you.
well basically now i can work legitimately. i can also open a bank account. and i dont have to run to a nearby border and pay to get my passport stamped every three months to prove that i left the country. and probably some other stuff, but those were the things i cared about.
and it doesn't have "negrete" on it. but i am often referred to as "De Negrete." and i love you and miss you too mar mar!
