Time for Tea

So we´re back in Peru, already. Not sure if I´m really ready to be back, but here we are. And besides the unpacking, I have so much to do. I start class tomorrow at the institute and I´m starting a new academic quarter at the preschool. I actually have to start getting my students ready for their Christmas production! Anyways I had such an amazing time in California that I wanted to write just one more blog about it. On one lovely afternoon I went to have lunch with my Grandma and we ended up at the Tea House in Oakhurst. It´s one of the most charming places I have ever been. This place is filled with all things tea and everything is delicate and sweet looking. And it smells like warm scones, sugar, and tea.....it´s kind of the best smell ever. Inside there are different tables all decorated uniquely and even seperate cozy tea rooms with themes like the fairies or Alice in Wonderland. You really have to experience this place.

Family Fun

I just love that we had the chance to visit so much family while in California. I hadn´t even seen my nieces and nephews for ten months....and they have grown soooo much! I can´t believe it. We spent alot of time all together and I followed the kids around trying to take pictures of them. They are such busy little people I only managed these few.

If only these pictures could show you how Luke`s cheeks literally bounce as he walks. Dang, I´m going to miss my family...I´m already headed back to Peru.

Flying a Kite

The only time Coco and I really had to spend at the beach, was just the few hours we spent strolling with our niece Allie in Port Hueneme. We decided to take a kite with us and I think we spent more time untangling the string than actually flying the kite. But Allie was happy playing in the sand while Uncle Coco untangled the string. I miss flying kites and strolling along the beach, so for me it was just perfect. And the weather was great of course.
